IMPELLERS
Impellers are the open type and allow the passage of particles over 20mm (0.8") in diameter without clogging.
They have a metal core on which is die-vulcanized a lining of various mixtures of special rubber depending on the material to be pumped.
All the impellers can be manifactured in different sizes and with a different number of vanes in order to give to the pump the desired characteristics.
CASINGS
They are built in two half-shells cast in engineering cast iron, steel or high-strength metals such as stainless steel, Hastelloy or others. The interior is die-coated with special rubber compounds. Any metal part which must come in contact with the fluid to be pumped is appropriately built of stainless material sauch as AISI 316 and Hastelloy alloy. All the mechanical parts (i.e. such as shafts, bases, couplings) are generously over-sized to create a compact, heavy-duty, pleasant appearing unit.
Molding vulcanization gives a precision-formed perfectly smooth interior which provides maximum resistance to abrasive and acid fluids.
Rubber-coated parts of PEMO pumps are designed in order to prevent contact between metal parts and corrosive fluids and therefore corrosion and electrolysis are prevented.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE OF LININGS
The special linings of our pumps are such to allow a functioning with no problems for a wide series of chemical enviroments, some of which are listed in a table. PEMO pumps can be used for even higher temperatures by applying linings of other special compounds.

OUR PUMP PRODUCTION
The PEMO production of pumps consists of fifteen different types of pumps listed here below in order of increasing size:
33 - 302 - 403 - 423 - 503 - 523 - 533 - 603 - 804 - K125 - 1004 - 1204 - P200 - 1706 - G230 - 2006 - I270.

HYDRAULIC FEATURES
The outlet of the 33 pump 30 mm (1.18") while the outlet of the 2006 pump is 250 mm (9.84") in diameter.
Installed powers range from 0.35 HP to 200 HP.
Delivery goes from a few liters per minute for the 33 model up to 200 cubic meters per hour for the 2006 model.
Impellers profiles are designed for maximum efficiency and the thick rubber coating provides high resistance to abrasion and corrosion.
The Head-Capacity curves represented in the table above give a rough idea of the broad range of applications of some PEMO pumps at a speed of 1450 rpm. By varying the speed of the pump or the size of the impellers the intermediate deliveries are obtained, thus filling in the chart and practically eliminating the spaces between the curves.

The design of the impellers and of the casings are always studied in order to achieve the highest efficiency, and the thick special rubber lining provides maximum resistance to abrasives and acids with the handled fluids.
